Owens Yachts started and owned Cutter Boats. Owens made large, inboard wooden yachts in Baltimore, Maryland. Cutter made small, outboard fiberglass runabouts in Tell City, IN. Owens started a small line of outboard fiberglass runabouts too. I assume they were made at the Cutter facility.

They were gobbled up by Brunswick about 1960. Brunswick moved Cutter out of Tell City. They also bought Larson Boat Works and screwed 'em all up.

Look in the Glassic Library here under Cutter and also under Owens to get a better idea of the picture.
