this is my boat is it a real redfish boat is it worth fixing up can u help me

lon, in my book any redfish boat is worth the effort to save it. some just take more work than others. if you deciede not to fix it make sure some gets it who will. as for help, just ask all the questions that you have and somebody will chime in. plus we need alot of pic,s to fuel our habit. lol. frog

yep...the bow looks like a red fish but there were so many copys of that design that pics from all angles are needed to id it....also if you look at the brochures 1961 was the last year for the shark....titles and regestration are often incorrect.....john

From what I can see, your Redfish looks like the real deal too me. I am almost finished restoring my 59 redfish but I cannot find the the original size rub rail. If anyone know where I can get a T 1 1/4 inch white rub rail please let me know. The only rub rail that I can find is from the redfish retroboats company. I had all the fasteners for my rub railed re-chrome and now I can't find the correct size white rub rail.

Can anyone help?

next (and i'm going to get in trouble with the RedFish FANS by saying this BUT), i think that it's DOWNRIGHT FUNNY to talk about either a "REAL RedFish" and/or "RedFish designs" as essentially ALL '50s-60s RedFish boats are KNOCK-OFFS of GLASTRONS.)
