TOPIC: Old Boat

Hello All,
I've recently begun a restoration on a boat which I inherited late last year. It's a 1975 15' foberglass tri-hull - Model is Sport Fleet Deluxe & has a '75 70 HP Evinrude.

Manufacturer's tag indicates the boat was produced by Vari-Products, Inc. of Hermann, MO. They are out of business and there's precious little info on the 'net. There's also stickers for Bliss Marine in Columbia, SC on it, but they've gone on out business as well.

I'm just curious if any of the experts here could provide something in the way of history, photographs, etc. relating to the company or any boats any of you may have or had in the past.

I tried Google and iboats/forum and didn't find anything...

That's a pretty cool looking boat Jon!

Try posting this message down in the "The 70's Disco-Fiber" forum, you may have a better chance of getting some info. Don't get too excited, as there were a bunch of manufacturers of tri-hulls in the 70's, many of which are long gone. I know, I used to have one!
