On the Glastron, I have 2 1" drain holes that drain the splash. They are flanged on both sides and thus have to be removed to take the deck off. The ones with a flange on one side are common, but where could I get a replacement pair with the flanges on both sides?

West Marine sells them flanged on one end. You have to cut them to size and then there is a tool that "flanges" the other side. There have been discussions on this board about them before.
Here's a link to an article that might interest you.

You can view the pics of the brass tube, installation, and tool in my project thread Todd;
www.fiberglassics.com/glassic-forums/15-the-70s-disco-fiber/44550-new-project-71-glastron-gt-150.html
The tubes are fairly cheap ($3-$4), but the tool is $25!

They can be installed without the tool, I think Cal put his in by peening the lip over manually. (His turned out great, but I didn't want to take a chance on screwing it up. My skill level is nowhere near his!). :P

Guys, that was exactly what I was looking for. Here's a link for a homemade flairing tool. www.reel-time.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61261 The big question is how much extra length should I leave?

Left 3/16" past the mark for transom thickness to make the flare, looks about right;

I pushed the full length through the transom and made a mark. Then added the 3/16ths for the flange fold over, worked out perfect.

The link to the home made tool is great! Wish I would have seen that before I beat a peening hammer on mine.

On the length 3/16 is the right lenght to cut the tube. You may think you need more but if you make it too long as you tighten the flaring tool you can wrinkle the inside of the tube then the plugs will not go in.
