TOPIC: funky wheel

Just picked up this cool wheel. Golden flecks and creamy yellow. Says Kainer on the drum. Did Kainer make the wheel too?

The center hub is oval. I may put this on a Cadillac runabout, so I'm thinking about trying to fashion and emblem for the center hub. Maybe a Cadillac car emblem embedded in resin?

Anybody seen one of these? Know the maker of the wheel? Got an oval center cap cluttering up your work bench?

She's a very common steering wheel. I have seen it used on many boat brands. Kainer sounds correct. I would guess early to mid 1960s accessory.

This is indeed a common wheel. Here are a few photos of a complete wheel in black. Note the small hole in the the center of the center spindal showen in your photo is threaded to accept the long bolt that holds on the chrome center dome.

Dang, the black and white wheel is the one I have been looking for. Tey may be common in the east, but here in the desert, you'll never find one. If anyone has a sapare, let me know.
