TOPIC: Drug another one home

Picked this up yesterday for $25. It had an appointment with a chainsaw today. Couldn't let that happen. Any ideas on what it is, and what might have powered it? Jet drive, controls, and wiring still in place. Just need a motor and a paint job.

Who needs a solid transom with a jet. That does look like FUN. I would envision a Ford 460 with chrome sticking out all over the place. Funny how those things just happen to fall out of the sky and in the back of your truck.

A few cracks and holes to glass up, but overall very solid.

A V8 would sink that thing. It looks like it may have a had a Rotax or similar. Find a wrecked PWC and transplant the engine - Heck - the pump and nozzle are a heck of a good buy if the impellers are any good.

Found a wrecked jet ski with a 900cc 100hp motor for $200. Think I'll work that out.

I don't care what drive it has if the transom is weak it would need attention in my book. Just like a floor if it is weak to walk on do you just step over the spot? No I fix it. In that train of thought just get a coffee can and bail the water out instead of fix the holes.
