TOPIC: 1958 Su-Mark resorter gull Fallon Nevada

I have become hooked on this boat ( and Merc 500 )I am looking for any info and am searching in a number of sites. I hope to be able to add to the library at some point.

Any help will be appreciated.

Su Mark made on Stone St. in Walpole MA there is little to no info on this site about them. My uncle had this model with a 33 HP ski twin. It was sold to some friends after someone stole the motor off of it in my uncles drive way.
Nice simple boat. get a windshield for it make sure all the structure is sound and re do the finish. That should be about all you need to do to it. The motor looks clean, service it and go.

I can see why you're hooked on that one Hugh, nice clean lines. She ought to scoot pretty well with the Merc 500, I think Jim is right about the windshield!

Thanks for the help and comments. I agree it has to have a windshield. If I can't fit either of the two I have, I will put a WTB on Glassifieds. The one photo of the su mark "fishing" gull one of the members put on my first collumn about this boat, had a tall windshield and realy makes the boat look good. I plan on starting in on it by the end of April.
