TOPIC: Anyone know whos 13 Allison this is?

It was at Clayton a few years ago. It has an 850XS on it in the picture. Hopefully I can get the picture through. What a beautiful Ally!

I think that boat was at the Mt Dora show last March. If it is there this show, March 22, 23 24, I will get the info on it. It is very nicely done.

That was the 2008 RBR as he had a 6-holer on that hull at the 2010 show. The rig belongs to Ken Fornwalt.

This is kind of funny. The one with the 35 Evinrude on it is mine now. I picked it up in Tennessee a few years ago. Always wanted a 13R though.

Yes that would be me. I actually didn't know who took that picture. I just found it on the internet when I was looking at Allisons for sale. It popped up somehow, but I don't believe it was for sale. I couldn't help but save that pic as it was the nicest 13R I've ever seen. That pic was at Clayton wasn't it? It sure looks like Clayton if it wasn't.

Does anyone have any info on that mount on that 850?

Completely homemade. The guy is pretty good with his TIG or MIG...

Looks to be "kina" designed like the Garelick (?) trolling motor (outboard) mounts? Pretty cool idea though, and looks to be well done.

Damn, thats a beauty with that XS! I wish I never had sold my old Ally! Fun, fast little boat!

There's something about the smaller hotboats. Maybe it's that they are a little more down to the basics like the glassics. The big offshore overkill with gas sucking Hoover carbs do very little for me (good thing because I couldn't even pay that much for a house). Anyone else got pics of their little hotboats?

Since you asked & it is your thread.. I would say the 59 - 61 Center
deck G-3 GLASSPAR ski boat fits into that group . At 13 1/2 foot , some guys are running six cyl Mers on them... Still a fun boat with 50 hp & trim & tilt.. This chattanooga pic from last fall
has a 59 barn find in the foreground bought fromn the orig owner , & a 61 two owner recently bought out of north Georgia.... Mine is
also a white 59 found on a farm & I have three short shaft Mercs to sample , 50 - 65 - & 80 HP.
