TOPIC: I guess these can be addicting

I found a deal I could not pass. Another Elgin. A 1962 Elgin Model 62140 (still has hull plate) Small 14 footer 13'7" centerline with a 60" beam. Has the original '62 Elgin 40, elgin controls, and what looks to be a elgin trailer ( see pics and tell me what you think) The trailer has been titled an a homebuilt, with a missouri Dept of Revenue plate attached. The gelcoat is in good condition, no cracks or crazing. Needs polished. Hard to find info in the 40 horse and fiberglassics library only goes to '61.

Seems really hard to find onfo on the Elgin (Mcculloch) 40 horse. Most of the websites deal with the smalkl 'fishing' motors. Pretty much complete and runs. But also need a throttle cable. Where would be a good place for parts like that?
