While watching ShipShape TV yesterday, they were discussing proper wiring and connections. One of the guests was from the U.S. Coast Guard, and mentioned a website they provide for reference and education on proper techniques, acceptable practices on repairs, maintenance, boat building, etc.. I haven't checked it all out yet, but looks to be a pretty good read for those who are interested;

Why is it that all the good stuff happens after I leave??? Just kidding! I used to work in the USCG Office Of Boating Safety and know all of those people very well. What the site is about is the US Coast Guard's program for boat manufacturer's, to achieve compliance with U. S. safety standards for recreational boats. It's very professionally done, and well put together.
