I have the Sportsman Edition. It has only the two seats up front, with just a big space behind it. In the ad it says you can put deck chairs back there. My question is, would it be safe to have people just sitting on the deck without benches or seats, or should I add some sort of seats?

Wow, a Fiber-Flite brochure! Do you have the entire brochure and can we add it to the Fiber-Flite section in the Library: www.fiberglassics.com/library/Fiber-Flite

Many boat makers offered a similar model that did not have rear seating. A cost savings as well as offering more room for skis, camping gear, fishing gear, etc. I have a similar type of boat in which someone had installed back-to-back seating. My thoughts were to upgrade to more of deluxe model appearance or keep with the utility theme and use vintage folding chairs with rubber nonskid pads.

I don't know how to get them into the library.

Quick question, what is a vintage folding chair and what do they look like, sounds interesting.

It was very common to have an open rear cockpit and use captain or director chairs for seating.

Thanks, really great to finally have information on Fiber-Flite Boats. I went ahead and added the brochure to the Fiber-Flite section in the Library: www.fiberglassics.com/library/Fiber-Flite

Here's an example of vintage folding chairs in use on a boat:
