TOPIC: Bellboy American Marine Industries Info

I just got a 1973 Bellboy. These boats were made by American Marine Industries. I am having a really hard time finding any info on them. Are they perhaps a clone of another brand name? Does anyone have one currently? Would love to see pics or other info. I would love to find an owners manual or brochure.

The Glassic Library here indicates that Bell Boy assets were purchased by Sabre Craft Boat Company in 1961 or so.

I found a newspaper article from 1964 that indicated Bell Boy Corp. assets were purchased in 1962 by American Marine Industries, Inc. at Tacoma, WA.

Sabre Craft became a division of American Marine Industries, Inc. in the 1960s.

I cannot find anything else.

Owner's manuals or operator's manuals were almost never published by boat manufacturers. I doubt you will ever find one for a 1973 Bell Boy. I cannot speak with any authority about a brochure from that time period.
