Cruisers, Inc. never made anything like that - fiberglass hull with wood transom and deck.

Maybe a Wagemaker?

My first reaction was, it's a Norseman. My folks had a 14 foot Norseman that looked very similar but didn't have the windshield, but as far as I know Norseman never built in fiberglass.

Andreas,
I was thinking Wagemaker also but the windshield is too high. You can see in my Avatar. As far as I know there was only one year for the fiberglass bottom and wood top, the 1960 which I have. Almost looks like a Thompson windshield but the rest does look like a Wagemaker, but didn't the Thomson's have flip out windshields?

There is one very similar to this for sale in Ford City in junk condition. And I do mean junk. I don't know what it is. Last time I checked the old rude was submerged in the back of the boat and all the wood was rotten. He only wanted a thousand for it. LOL

Starting in 1959 some models of wooden lapstrake boats by Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. had operable front windows in the windsheild frame.

None of the Thompson firms and spin offs made a fiberglass hull with wooden deck and transom and seats.

Roger that. Hard to tell without seeing the bow. From what I can see it doesn't look swept enough to be a Wagemaker even with a different windshield.

Thanks for all the replies. I am new here and am having a bit of trouble posting to the forum. Kinda new to forums.
I have many more pictures but having trouble attaching them. Seems to only allow 1 at a time or it duplicates the first picture. Anyhow I will try to attach another picture
I researched Wagemaker boats and it seems very similar to a 59 clipper.
I actually measured lenght and it is 15 ft

Rick,
Definitely not a Wagemaker, the bow is way to "blunt". Actually looks just like a Lyman but to my knowledge they didn't make any fiberglass hulls. Maybe a small company copied the Lyman hull in glass.

Maybe MFG?

I think Doug may be on the right track with MFG. According to "Tailfins and Two Tones", 1956 MFGs had a fiberglass hull with "a lot of transom and topside wood". There is also an old photo of a 57 MFG which looks like the hull on this one. (Page 92-93 if anyone is interested) Rick, you might have found yourself a pretty rare boat from the wood to glass transition era.

Definitely looks like an MFG in hull shape. Maybe the wooden windshield was added later by a previous owner. Take it off and it looks all MFG. Just a thought.
