I'm wondering if anyone knows whether or not you can buy these type of bumper holders anymore. The fit flush to the boat and I believe you must plug your bumper rope into them with another plug thingy.
I have the four stainless plates but the guts are gone. It might be easier to fill the holes and put regular old cleats on instead.

Any thoughts on how these work??

Always have to laugh to myself when someone calls fender a bumper.

Used to sit in the sail boat and hear it all the time when someone was coming to dock for fuel

Ok I thought fenders were on cars. Oh --- I guess bumpers are as well. OK I'll start calling them fenders. But if I bruise my boat when my wife doesn't know to put out the "bumpers" when I tell her to put out the fenders - I'll blame you guys.

just funnin of course, call em what you want, after all, what do they call that rail, a fender rail ? Bump rail ? and there Is such a thing as Prop Wash.

Serously ... there may be a chance these would be the same hole pattern, just a thought

I have these on my Fury and they work great, and look nice too. I got mine at Overton's.

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

Do you know the diameter of these. I looked and none of the sights told me. I think these will work great.
Thanks Tom

Thanks again all

Actually they're "rub rails" so does that mean they're "rubbers"?

Sorry that was too easy but had to do it. :woohoo:

These "mushroom" pop-up fender cleats look like might work for ya. A number of companies make them in different colors.
