TOPIC: hub for steering wheel

I posted on items wanted, but wanted to post here too. I need the hub that the steering wheel connects to. The wheel I have will not come off of it. I tried everything and even broke the jaws of a 3 jaw puller trying to get the wheel off. Picked up another wheel, but need a hub. anyone have one? (I have the pulley section that the steering cables attach to). Thanks.

.K79 , Can you just cut off the old wheel with a Angle grinder & THIN wheel .? ... Get a slot into it , & oil & chisel to widen .
. Guys have to cut propellers off when really corroded. |

Kewpie, is that what you are looking for? This is an NOS one I bought a while back (actually bought 2, the other is on my Tomahawk). The shaft is 3/4". I had thought about using this on my Glastron, but now I am thinking I would like to get one of the nice late 50s, early 60s Attwood wheels with its hub. If I do, I'd be willing to part with this one. Is this something you need now or could it wait a few weeks? Let me know.

THAT ISN'T MY HUB
make me an offer on the wheel I have a hub but it is a bit sloppy and the chrome is bad shipping is whatever it is from 46038 |
