TOPIC: Replacing chrome trim

Replacing chrome trim 12 years 8 months ago #54047

Hi all- the prior owner replace the interior metal chrome trim with that plastic automotive chrome colored stuff that goes on door edges. Is there a source for the original metal stuff?

Jim, here's a thread from a while back where some folks were looking for the interior trim as well:

Greg Anderson shares his source on the rubber stuff, but it looks like we'll have to check with Taco to see if they've dropped the metal version from their line? (It still doesn't show up on their website. - I know I've seen that stuff somewhere, but my memory is getting pretty sorry! I need some too, eventually. )

I haven't tried this yet but I just read about it on another Forum. It looks very interesting. It is a spray chrome process.
