TOPIC: hull id # help for 58 Playmaster

I need a logical or what could be a hull id number for my 58 Playmaster. There is nothing I could see or find.
Want to register it. Thanks

Here's an example of a 1956 Glass Magic ID tag.

Serial numbers often contain year of manufacture, length, three or four digit sequential numbers. Probably will meet all requirements if you make up the number of your choice and fix it somewhere on the transom like a Coast Guard Hull Information Number plate.

You would be much better off letting the state assign an HIN. They assign HINs to boats built before 1972 all the time. It's no big deal. You fill out a form and certify it was built before 1972 and they assign an HIN.

I will look into that. Illinois sucks at other levels of Government. I wonder how they will be with an old boat shell? The game continues. Thanks
