Very much like the glass Taylor Made's used on '60s Correct Crafts and I'm sure others too. They have a U shaped gasket down each edge of the glass then the aluminum center piece,outside and inside is thru bolted.

digging this one up again to show some progress
BTW....Novus polish is awesome stuff !!!
this is with 1 side done on the outside only



and a quick test fit with it finished..not bolted down



she's coming along..

It would not have occurred to me to take of the middle. I have removed material from the ends on single plane windshields.

I really like the look of the aluminum strip in the center. It gives it "that look".

with the dual curvature of the "corvette" style windshield it HAD to come dead out of the center or the contours would be off.

and sitting in the Sea Ray museum in Knoxville in September

this is the first classic boat I have ever attempted
