Pretty interesting boat, and the price is certainly right--FREE! (Not mine, just passing it along for anyone who may want to take a look at it).

Hi Shannon,

Great find! The part about "must take boat and trailer" is normally not the case. Those addicted to this hobby tend to drag an empty trailer to pick up the yard queen.

I took a Beechcraft Sierra airframe (minus wings) to Florida to swap and retrieve a standard Redfish Shark. I still don't understand what everyone was looking at as we motored down I-95. I really wanted to roll down the window and ask, "Haven't you ever seen anyone tow a plan on a boat trailer down the highway before?"

I hope someone takes the fins home for Christmas. I believe some lucky girl will find it in the driveway on Sunday morning. And that night some guy will be moving out to the shop to cuddle up next to a small electric heater...just kidding.

Take care!

The boat is a Tomahawk. Most likely a Skimate. Halifax is a nice town between Boston and Cape Cod. I used to live 2 towns away.

If I was closer (i.e., within about 5 hours) I would be on my way to get it. (Well, my boyfriend and I would be on our way to get it--with him grumbling the whole way "not another one--how many do you need?"). But then again, I'm a little crazy. What can I say, I just love those old fins..... :)

C'mon. I once drove for CT to Ft Lauderdale to buy a catamaran (sail). It only took 3-1/2 days (the other 1/2 was spent drinking on a friend's boat in Charleston). You guys probably need a weekend out of town anyway.

From the picture it looks more like a Spirit of Tomahawk. The 14' sounds more like a Skimate.
