I don't know which of us were happier? We both had huge grins on our faces by the time the titles were all signed.

You don't see deals like this too often. Everybody wins!

He got a real hot rod in my 1973 Power Cat 16T.

I got a real sweetheart of a 1959 Dorsett San Juan.

Sweet boat. That would be a tough trade but I love the dorsetts. Could you post some pics of the interior? I would like to see the layout.

That's how it goes, you trade the sports car for the family sedan and when you hit your mid-life crisis, you go get another sports car. Seriously, congrats. Sounds like you both are happy with the deal.

Nice. It's always a good deal when you walk away smiling, and an even better deal when you BOTH walk away smiling. I love those cruisers...

Wow, excellent boats, tough choice. As was said as long as everyone is happy. Yeah cruisers are nice, but there really is something to be said about hauling butt across the lake!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Indeed I will miss the Power Cat, but at almost 55 years old I'm feeling like I need to slow down a bit. Looking in my garage I needed to make a choice, so I traded the Power Cat and kept my Yamaha V-max 1200 motorcycle.

I certainly did have some good times with the Power Cat, but I expect I will have some good times with the Dorsett as well. It's probably a little more useable, as I live within 10 minutes of Puget Sound.

Yeah have to agree that Yamaha will DEFINITELY bring the zing back when you need it. Looked at one when they first came out but at 5'7" kind of hard to touch the ground and figured I'd probably kill myself! Well wife said I probably would and didn't want it around. She grew up riding on a Harley Super Glide her dad had and was almost hit several times, s there went that idea!
