TOPIC: The latest "what is it?"

Saw this boat outside a marine consignment shop in RI. I know nothing about it except they believe it is from 1958. The condition actually looks pretty good. Needs a transom but the rest of the glass looks in good shape. Any idea what this might be?

I love the little stub fins on the back corner. They appear to be strictly decorative.

BTW, $450.00 but could probably be negotiated.

Does that price include the tire and milk crate??

.T.: It appears to have the lines of a CROSBY SWEPTFIN,, If you say
the fins are removable, that could be in the Arkansaas Traveler family . Yes 57 - 58 appears to be the size / style ..Could not pull up prior forum search, BUT the Crosby (RARE) has those lines , but maybe a shark tooth bow grill / scoop .(?) .

If anyone is interested, I can do some "boots on the ground" stuff. It is about 45 minutes from my house. As I said, it looks in pretty good condition, ex the transom. I'm sure the tire and milk crate could be included if the negotiations are strong enough.
