I emailed the guy asking for more pics and info.
I asked about the other one in the pic and it is not for sale.
I am still waiting on pics of the one that is for sale.

The steering wheel and throttle are worth the asking price.

We had one about like it when we were kids. Ran a 5 hp Gale on it. It flew like a rocket!

I'd say any value there is in the hardware- steering & throttle/ shift. But it's cheap enough!

OK, this is for the guys out in WA state...

You guys seem to be hoarding all the cool boats out your way!!! Everytime I look online, the great buys are in the Great Northwest. Its making me reevaluate moving to NC in the near future.

Thanks for the posting, Neil. I do appreciate seeing what's out there.

Morning John,

I wish it was closer. I've seen a few similar boats like this for sale but they're all out west. The $100 pricetag is terrific!

I was just thinking it would make a neat wall ornament in the shop.

would make a neat wall ornament in the shop.

Sure would! Or suspend it from the ceiling, at an angle. Cool conversation piece... ;)

I built an 8' Minimax when I was 13. Hung a '57 18 HP Johnson on it. It had plenty of beans, as I've heard some people say.

That one looks to me more like a Minimost, but I could be wrong. They had a little more advanced hull design. Here is a similar one in Alabama.

Saw one recently for $75 in Cape Coral.

They're pretty cool little boats, but hard on the knees.

290 HP / 275 LBS might be just a bit much, but I like your thought process there Neil!

They're pretty cool little boats, but hard on the knees.

First thing I thought was putting stirrups on the deck top for my feet Shannon, no way I'm going to be able to kneel down in there.

I;m with you Mark, Neil I like the way your thinking also!!!! Would remind me of the old hot rod cartoon with the Monster shoehorned into a Hot Rod with a blown motor of your choice!

Yep definitely would have to be stirrups on both sides, sure as heck aren't kneeling i that bad boy, knees would never take it!

At my age that would be hard on the knees. Plus I don't think I would fit in that thing today.
