Taylormade still makes the Corvette style windshields. I believe they go up to 70" wide.. I'm having someone custom the 72" windshield I need for the Glastron.

this is a project on a budget Taylor Made w/s are nice but 650.00 would totally blow my budget on this.
I may split and section this one I have ...will look good and probably no one will know the difference since I can't find anyone who has ever really seen one

I have someone who is remaking the windshield for the Glastron, with a new aluminum strip across the top, for $350 plus shipping. I did have the original one, albeit broken, that I sent for pattern. When I get it back, I will post on how it came out. It will be around $525 when all is said and done. I doubt if the Taylormade price includes shipping, so this may be a good deal for a custom.

I was hesitant about making one myself since it needs to be an exact fit for the reveal on the hull and the hardtop.

Mopar, you might be able to find a buyer for the windshield either here in Glassifieds or on the classic Glastron site.

here are the photos. Looks like 58 tip to tip off the boat. You should have an inch of play either side. This came off of a 1958 Carver Commodore
