TOPIC: Heaely Sprite

Heaely Sprite 12 years 10 months ago #50898

I have just been given a Healey sprite which i have fallen in love with. It was in an apple orchard for the last 25 years + all the fibre glass is sound but the floor and woodwork will need replacing. what i am short of though is any pics of the interior and were they ever fitted with 4 seats or a 2 seater by design. I have no idea of value of the boat in its current state or as a completed restoration i just want to get her sea worthy and play as cheaply as possible. Any info or pics please send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

yep i looked through the previouse thread what i really need though is some pic's of the interior of an original Healey all thats left of the one i've been given is the steering wheel. This does seem to be a very rare boat as i can't seem to find any not even from GB.

Check out Moss Motors in Santa Barbara, CA. They specialize in British Sports Cars.
www.MossMotors.com . I rebuilt my 65 MGB using stuff I got from them. Plus their free catalog shows how things look installed.

Also, you might want to get a Shop Manual. I have an old dog eared one put out by Haynes & I think Chilton has one too. Moss probably carries one or try googling it.

Andy,
Found this old Forum Thread. I am in the process of purchasing a 1960 Healey Sprite Sport Boat. Wondered if you ever found resources you were looking for. Any additional infroation would be appreciated.
