Yea he's going to scrap it if it doesn't sell, what a load of B.S.!!! If that was true he should price it at scrap value (about $.35 a pound X say 700 Lbs = $245.00) not $1200.00 Don't worry the boat is safe!
Now here's a guy truly dreaming in Technicolor (boat is a 55 Voyager not a 46 as stated in the ad)

About 4 years ago when scrap was sky-high a steel hulled 20 foot cabin cruiser with a slant six in it was sitting at our local scrap dealer. It needed interior work and paint outside. I had just taken in a Dodge Omni and got just over $400.00 for it. The boat and trailer scrap value was over $2,000 because it had a very heavey steel beam home made marina style trailer under it. They were trying to sell it just for the price of the scrap. Nobody bought it and by fall they sliced it into sections. It broke my heart.

If someone wants one of those Crestliners There is one in southern Mo. with a mark 55 for about $1500.
