TOPIC: am i crazy or not/nbr

ok this is kind of nbr and ken i wont mind at all if you move it.
ok in the "trailer" forum i am going to do a 1940's baby stroller with tee nee like fenders,and customize it to look like a tee nee trailer,it got me thinking about customizing pedal cars.
im going to restore my boats but this would be easier to do,i wouldnt have to climb in and out.
i might even build a small boat or two to pull behind the car,like it shows in a link that cat put in my other post.
its a way for me to make a few bucks,so the big question is ...am i crazy to do this,or is there any market for it?
i am still going to restore boat parts for my fg friends,no charge because i love doing it.
what do you guys think?thanks for any input,john

The baby stroller sounds cool- I'd love to see that. I might need one in the near future, Too

The customized pedal cars sound neat, too- There is a guy down here that customizes golf carts, and they are really something!

After seeing how the Carousel Horse, and some of your other post of projects turned out. I can only assume this will be a work of art. I vote "not crazy".

John, I can see you driving a boat, but not a pedal car.

I assume you have been to www.pedalcars.com . They don't have any pedal boats; maybe that is your market. There is a lot of great FG designs that could work as pedal boats.

I definitely don't feel so bad now. My wife has been saying I'm crazy for years. Now I find a whole slew of people just as nuts as I am and there's even boats involved!

The company that made the pedal cars also made a pedal boat. It would be neat to hook up some kind of trailer and tow one behind the car, fire engine etc.

Considering you can still buy new reproduction pedal cars, I think you might be on to something.

This is about the best Original pedal car I have had,it actually had a little engine that hung on the back with a small windshied,both are missing on this one. They are not real common but they are out there,I used to collect good originals then when the repops started I sold them all before the market fell way off, I kept a couple of the boats for the collection, this one stays in the living room.
