Hi all -

This is my 2nd thread, and thanks again to all who've so warmly welcomed me.

Several of you encouraged me to post pix of my project boats, so here they are:
'58 Glaspar Club Mariner
'60 Norris Craft 13'er
Unknown The Meier Line runabout

I have pix of my o/b engine "accumulation" that I'll post separately.

I hope you enjoy, and regards to all,

Terry

This is some GREAT Stuff.. Do you have any motors on the back of the Marniner.? Seems to be mostly white with the Light blue upper..
We had our 1st rally here in Chattanooga this summer...

The Norris craft may be 14 foot , & they are made North West of Knoxville.. There are a few more collectors that have them.. Also
the Feather Craft club usually comes to the south east Knoxville show in May . Free outboard show ..

Mercs are always interesting, & should find a home..
.................

. How long have you owned the Glasspar.?? They were about 1st with cars , the U-2 I think in 52..

I've had the Glaspar about 5 years - it's overall gray w/blue & black trim.
No engine on it right now, but I've had a Johnson 100 and a Johnson 35 on it.
Have a rebuilt Bearcat for it when I get motivated. ;)

The Norris Craft is s/n'd as a 13'.
MOF, I bought it from Jesse Anderson ~6 years ago.
The old Johnson 35 is just using it as an engine stand right now.

I sold my Feathercraft just a few weeks ago.

I plan to sort out the Mercs and sell 'em one of these days.
Probably the other two Bearcats and some of the other engines.

regards,

Terry

I would love to get hold of another Norris if any of these are going to be for sale?! :) Just wanted to put that out there..... After I saw the heavy-duty build quality of my first one, I want another!

On another note, can I get a few detailed pics of the interior and exterior of your Norris? I want to match the paint scheme better and want some more ideas on the interior details.

FWIW, the colors of (at least the early) Norris Crafts is in the gelcoat.
According to Mac Crumley, when I talked to him a few years ago about my boat, his grandfather was one of the first to do this.
Of course, it could be duplicated with paint.
And they certainly are solidly built! ;)

If I knew how to PM on this site, I'd send some pix.
Unfortunately, mine came with no interior other than the fiberglas molding.

But here's another look:

p.s. -
I could be talked into selling it.

Double and triple posts happen to me as well. It only happens from my Mac here at work. It has never happened from my PC at home. Not sure why it would matter.

ETC, nice projects, those should be great to restore!

The double and triple posts usually come from a slow connection/server so it looks like it isn't posting, so you hit it again and once it catches up, you end up with however many times you hit it. That's usually what happens to me, I just have to be patient.

Tnx for the kind words, Bob.
I've been getting a DNS error after hitting Submit, then when I reload the page, it duplicates.
Not every time, but twice in this thread and once in another.
But at least I got my pix on ok.
Guess I just hafta live with it. :S

Here was the finished product. I was not able to capture the lines and graphics as perfectly as the originial gel coat.

Looks great, Norris! :-)

PM me if you're still interested in another Norris Craft - I've decided to sell mine.

And to update - a fellow from around Louisville, Ky. bought the Club Mariner a couple weeks ago.

Now to get busy on all the old engines! ;-)

regards to all,

Terry
