TOPIC: Alpex 16 foot TS-16 Sea Aire

Anyone know much about this boat. It is a 16 foot Alpex by Aluma Craft...fiberglassic...TS-16 Sea Aire?











Seems very solid, except for the usual cracking in the gelcoat. 100hp Johnson runs too.

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated!

Actually, not much. I had a boat and motor very similar to that. If you are interested in selling it, you can look in the boat trader for similar models. I've seen glasstrons with newer outboards go for $2,000.00. Your Johnson doesn't look that old. You might want to sell them seperately. Just my opinion.

the motor looks like a 1965 Meteor and I hope you had water going to it. It did not look it but I could be wrong. I know a guy a few towns over from me that has one of these. Good solid boat. In this economy price it right if you want to sell it.

I restore motors for a hobby. The motor was indeed in the barrel...and pumped plenty of water.

She runs well after tweaking the low speed jets.

I'm not in a big hurry to sell it. It is complete and in good shape, so I think we'll use it next season until my little Thompson woodie is restored and serviceable.
