Welcome J. Pics, and a description of the condition of the boat, motor, trailer would be most helpful. It's really hard to throw a figure out there without some idea of what you're looking at. Restored ($3000+) or good condition originals ($1500+) will bring a higher price, where "project boats" can be had for well under $1000. It's a buyers market this time of year, off season coming and the economy is "less than comfortable". Just my two cents worth......

We'll I'd say from the looks of the pic it's still in fair condition. I believe it's definitely not something one would just give away.

I agree, big fins, hardware all there, it looks like a very decent project boat! What kind of shape are the hull, floor, stringers, transom, etc. in? Is the motor running, compression readings? Those are great looking old boats, IMHO. ;)

Nice rig- But condition is EVERYTHING. Floors, transom, stringers... Does the motor run?? Its a 1958 Lark, one of my favorite engines, cool looking. Great runners, too!

The condition of things would decide if it's a giveaway, or something you'd pay a couple hundred for... Either way, it would be a lot of work, but it's a cool boat, and would be a worthwhile project!

Everything else was in fair shape, no leaks. This was the ole man's boat but unfortunately it hasn't been run in 20 years...last we remember it was still towing us water skiing.

Selling, I actually listed it on craigslist and have gotten 3 quick replies... which shocked the rest of the family except me. I'd prefer it to go to someone who would want to restore it so that I could someday see the finished product. I sent some pics in the mail to a Larson museum curator who said he could help me out with the value as well.
