JOHN, THIS Custom Craft should be East of Los Angles , California..
With a 35 hp this puppy had been baby - ed. Those look like original pattern on the seats.?? Picture would make a good library reference.

If this was in CT, it would be in Stonington by now.

Those could be the original seats; at least the original pattern. If they are not, someone did a good reproduction. My AR has the original seats with the same pattern. Anyone who wants photos, dimensions or anything else to reproduce authentic looking seats for their CC, let me know and I will get them the information.

Todd, I think maybe what confused people was the "for sale in CF" instead of CA. I know it confused me, but then, I am easily confused...

What model is this - what is the centerline length & What is the beam?

That looks like a very well preserved boat. Most people don't realize that it's way less expensive to get a turn-key boat (or looks to be close to it) than it is to bring back a POS. Plus, you could go boating in it the same weekend you get it. Ever done that? I've bought 2 classics over the years that actually were water ready - Very tired - but could be used. Most fun ever - buy it & splash it. If you like how it performs - then restore it later.

There are folks out here than can go look at it for someone if need be. We move stuff up & down the West Coast all the time "hop-scotch" style. You wait till someone is headed a few hundred miles in the "right" direction - & they tow the boat to the next "waiting " place at a fellow glasser's house. Then it's just a metter of time to get the next stint a little further along. Takes time, but the price is way cheap - sometimes free.

Ron, that's not an Aqua Ray. It's a mono hull and has mini-fins. Plus this has the back-to-back fold down seats, which wouldn't work on mine. My guess is Tiger Ray. I e-mailed the guy looking for some more info.

Very good point Bruce. You can save yourself a lot of time and money by being patient, and waiting for a deal on a decent boat like that one to come along. These "basket case" or total re-do projects are long, hard, and expensive. I sure am glad I had a daily driver to use while in the process. There is definitely some merit to spending a little more up front, and enjoying it for a while before tearing into it, IMO. ;)

TUDOR,: Yes, very well a Tiger ray .. Reading the library brochure here, I never knew there could be a 15ft & 16 model T.R. .!
Bigger one 6 inches longer & 6 inches wider.. Both could have a I/O or ouboard motors. .. A I/O in a 14 ft 9 in would be a Cutie.!!

CC bumped up the length of some of their models between 63 and 64. Must have been a production nightmare.

Frank, the CF came from the registration number. My bad, should have said CA

Actually Todd, the "Inland Empire" gave it away. I've been there before, though a very long time ago. Nice area.
