TOPIC: Neat Vintage Package - 1959 Feathercraft

Morning All,

I found this neat vintage package on Ebay this morning. Its a 1959 Feathercraft with a very cool Mercury and a Holsclaw trailer. The reserve is set above the $1500 opening bid and I can forsee this picking up momentum in the next few days. Looks like a clean rig, though.

Good eye Todd, that's a nice one. Price-wise, I'm not - but I'll bet you're right.

The steering wheel doesn't look to be original, and with the starboard helm I'm curious about the steering cable running down the port side? (Help balance weight, maybe?) Nice rig though, IMHO.

As for the Feathercraft, I don't kow anythign about them or that one in particular. I just thought it was a good looking boat from an era of boats that I enjoy.
