So I was offered this bas boat a few weeks ago.. Free. I didnt jump on it because I dont need another boat. Well The same family also knows my dad and knew I was interested in it but not jumping in and offered it to him. SO here it is, in the yard, not sure what were going to do with it. It has a Evinrude 115 V4 and a nice trailer. its 18 feet long and suposedly used to top out in the 60's. I will add some pic's please tell me what your opinions of these are. Should I trash the boat? Sell teh motor and trailer? ect. Transom is in ... Eh... semi solid but a tinny tinny bit of flex... I am not sure what to read into the transom yet jsut looked it over for five min. here it is.

I wish it had followed me home! I love those boats. Good luck with it.

Looks to be a good stable flat fishing platform. And you can't beat the price.

Well , Finnaly got the V4 115 running... all new Fuel lines,,, I like working on Mercs alot better.. Started right up and ran smooth pumps lots of water. the over heat buzzer??? I am guessing thats what it was kept going off but nothing seemed to be wrong all was cool and continuing to pump I am guessing a bad sensor? but its all mothballed to spend the winter up back with the Ponnies.

Boy I would like that engine.
Looks like you are a little over two hours from me.
What year is the engine?
77' or 78' I would guess.
