anycase, Frank, your correct there is a ski clamp for the mercs its an after market part made to fit MERCs

never seen one, but here it is on ebay.... unfortunately Frank although for towers of power ....not your model

Yep, it was me. That's really pretty cool, thanks for posting it. I wonder how they worked, versus just using two tow eyes and a harness?
