Well said Mark. I have to agree, not there yet as far as I'm concerned but others have said I am.

NewclassicRESTO, Not to pile on just have to agree since he did GIVE you the boat after all. We're not cranky old farts just like to keep it respectful.

That will be a great project boat and it should take some decent sized waves if it comes to it. Can't really tell from the pic but it looks like a 75 hp on the back. Keep us posted as you progress.

Cool, nice to see another Wizard,Marlin out there!!
My Wizard is relatively the same but with hard top and is a 58.

Some plants were in Dickson Tennessee , and St Joseph Michigan as well as Costa Mesa California.

Looks like yours is a Marlin Pescador , and if it is it could be a 59..at least that's the first year they show up on the list just before turning into Wizard/Winner.W ell after a closer look 59 or 60 is all it could be ...it doesnt show up on winner list after 60 and first shows up at 59. Does it say Wizard /winner or just Wizard on the Boat ? I think you have a 59.

today i just found out the window is not the original.... im kinda worried about that now. I would like to have the correct window for this boat. your window has the chrome around the ends and in the middle on the bow... I can see the holes for the original window.... I have to have the correct window it will drive me crazy.....

I see what your talking about with the chrome .....when i bought this boat the old owner had some paperwork with it and one interesting thing was that in the notes he wrote that the windshield was almost exactly the same dimensions as a 57 Chevy. As for the chrome pieces wow that might be hard to come by.
