TOPIC: How old is this little guy ?

Hello... new to this forum and this site.
This boat was too cool to pass up.. a cabin cruiser is what I've always wanted for the lakes and fishing. Does anybody know how old it is.. I do know that it is a Performer Seven Seas 17.. and the glass is in excellent condition.. I would like to fully restore the boat.. And I have a nice mid 70's 55 Chrysler that should power it up nicely. I will post all the work I do.. but that would be next year.. I'll store the boat for the winter..

Great looking little cruiser. Woosterken is right try tracing the registration first and go from there.

Cool little cruiser. I guess late 1950s or early 1960s.

Look in the Library here for brochures.

Don't pay much attention to registration and title and any other paperwork. It is very often inaccurate.

Thanks folks.. there is a page in the library for Performer boats but there is also a call out for more info. This list only covers a few years ..up to 1961. But I found the same boat for sale in Idaho that claims it's a 1967 model ? It has twin 30's... cool. My boat is stored several hours drive from me, waiting for a trailer to fetch it.. At that time I'll get the info from the hull plate. It's more of a curiosity to know the age. To me it has that 50's look to it. I'm a good wood worker so it will go on a dolly in my shop and get all new finished wood work.
