TOPIC: 1958 thunderbird "apache"

Things are tough all over. I am thinking of selling my cruiser but I have no idea what it is worth and cant find others to compare. Can anyone help ??

Unfortunately, pricing a glassic is a crap shoot. It comes down to the old adage "it's worth what someone will pay for it". Condition is paramount. Yours sounds like a cool boat and pretty unique. That should help as well. post some pics.

Realistically, I hope you can find a way to keep her.

The 25th of this month there is a boat auction in Lake Geneva, WI that I am going to for two reasons.
1. Find out what these boats are going for and...
2. See what this pristine Herters will go for.

A friend has a woodie that he has in the auction and I also want to see what he gets for it.

As the mans says, with todays economy it's a crap shoot but after the auction I will take pictures and post them with some of the going prices so you can get an idea.

I think this auction is geared more to the well healed though.

Kelly Blue book has a boat section for used prices but I don't think they consider condition.

Hope you get a fair price.

This same 57 Herters sold for $25,000 in Branson MO in October 2009. That was also a Mecum auction.
