TOPIC: Help with how to donate or dump 1969 18ft Larson

Hello,

I drove two large holes in my transom with my big tower of power and almost sank my boat. So instead of fixing I am just wanting to donate or dispose of boat. NOT TRAILER! However I have no idea where or how to do this.

The boat is a classic 1969o 19 ft Larson All American outboard. Boat is in good condition with exception to age and the now 2 holes in transom where motor mount bolts drove it in.

Have you tried putting an ad on cl? I see give away classic's on there all the time, and I am on the olympic penn. If I only had more space to store them!!

A few ways that I have disposed of the riff raff was:
1. Sawzall in little pieces and stuff them in the garbage for pickup every week, takes about six weeks and comes with a big case of the itchies.
2. Part it out, sell everything that comes off on EBay cheap.
3. Strip it down to the glass hull and take it to a private landfill.
4. Strip it down and take it to the town/county transfer station where it will be crushed and buried, ($13 here)
Landfills will not take anything with fuel tanks, motors etc.
5. Sell the trailer and give the boat free with it.
6. Give the boat to someone who needs a cute sandbox for the little ones.
