I just picked up this cool finned mini-boat the other day, and need to know if it looks familiar to anyone. This was originally used on The Grand Basin at Forest Park here in St. Louis, MO back in the late Fifties as part of the rental fleet for the Forest Park Boathouse. It seems very well-built, and will fit two adults. Here are some pix...the boat is 9'10" LOA (5' of that is foredeck!) and about 50" wide. No build i.d. plate that I could find.

No idea who made it but I like it. It certainly looks longer than 10' on that trailer. I think it would look much cooler with the wind screen off. Put a little outboard on it and fly.

thats a cool little boat! No clue on info though.

Could be like the old disney boats and be "one offs" they built for the park.

love the "half" steering wheel...or is it just broken?

It would be real cool if you could come up with a pic of them in their heyday.

I think that is an automobile steering wheel that has been hack-sawed in half!!

Cool looking boat. I'm with Larry, it would look sleeker without the windshield, more race like. Not familiar with the hull though.

Windshield is one I had laying around, the boat never had one originally. Steering wheel is an Atwood, similar to the dual steering wheels I had in my Powercat 12C, and has not been cut down. Atwood possibly offered variations on their wheels, I'm guessing. Here is a photograph from the Fifties of the Forest Park Boathouse rental fleet. My boat has F-7 painted on it.
