TOPIC: Sun Ray??

Sun Ray?? 13 years 1 month ago #41932

ok- i got the fever!! I working on my Newport but this Sun ray was close by and while another member on here purchased it he was good enough to sell it to me. Its very rough and ill reserve it for after i get thru the Newport. Some questions- anyone know the year? Where can i find serial, etc.

Its on a Snowco trailer also in rough shape- is the trailer worth saving??

Thanks

Serial number would be on the transom plate if it is original.

Got any pictures of the fins?

That may help determine the year as well...

..S.: CONGRATS on the purchase.. I am glad things worked out for you
in your location.. The pics dont look that rough cond... Any Custom Craft serial #'s would be on the inside top edge of the splashwell.(UpSide Down). . Almost under the right engine clamp... ONly very SMALL 1/4 " impressed into the aluminum transom cap plate,(If still there) ..May be scratches over the #'s & have to look at a angle.? Would be in this format 10 - 11- 4012 S.R. ?
.. Keep us posted
