Some of you have been watching me work on,curse and praise this $100 auction boat for about 3 years now. Although not a Glassic it's not far by definition as it's a 1981. About 10 Grand later It's starting to become reliable and run like a scalded ape at 10.000 pounds. I just wanted to show off some video of it taking names and Kicking Arss on Lake Martin Alabama.

Maybe I will have some Impala Sport craft action for every one this winter as the season is running down I will have some time of for "MY" Glassics.

Peace, Heather!

Nice Heather. And there is nothing like the ride of a heavy boat. Smooth as silk and solid.
We have a 19' Reinell cuddy and we just love it. Just glide along and forget the everydays.
Thanks for sharing.

And at the risk of being over bearing.

If you like a funny, this was about 2 weeks ago.One of my chickens laid a egg in my boat and we made a PRODUCTION of it.
Warning very Southern references.

Holy smokes, makes me feel like getting in my woodie for the evening and forgetting the glassic. Great vids and thanks for sharing.

This was shot last summer in the bay of Green Bay, yes there is actually water here and not just a football team.

`boy do i luv that century. i looked at a 15' hardtop before i got the mantaray. don't know what year or model it was but guess the early 60's. it was at a marina buried under a bunch of foam blocks they use for dock buoyancy. that boat got my juices flowing and led me back into the hobby. ron

I can remember having a big heavy boat, but it was not nearly as fast as Heather's. They make most waves inconsequential! You do great work Heather, thanks for sharing.

Thanks. it's twin stock 305's about 400 Hr's on the engines.
It gets about 1/2 mile to the gallon..."Yea" has a 200 gallon tank.
But most of the time. I just take it to my spot and we play on the jetski's or Deans small boat. I call it my condo on the lake.

Great video, as usual. The world of Fiberglassics wouldn't be the same without you, Heather!

Do you still have the Cobia G24 Offshore?

305's with 4bbl's, they gotta roar when you punch it. Got some friends with a 30' SeaRay with the BIG Mercs in it. It's tied up at the marina and gets out maybe 2 or 3 times a season to go across lake Michigan. The rest of the time it's like you said, its the cottage on the lake. Great party boat though.

Yep I still have the 1966 G24... It's to the side right now. Business has been good the last 3 years but it has just about every thing on the shelf. I just have got the NCII back in the shop for tare down for this winter.

As for the roar of the SeaRay. Oh yea. You know there is something nasty under the hatch when you slam it to the fire wall.

She jumps out of the water like a nuclear sub doing an emergency blow.

Nice Heather! Those old Rays are great boats, deep V and lots of dead rise makes the day on the water a pleasure. We ran Michigan's "Inland Water Way weekend before last in Julia's cruiser. Made the 45 mile run from Crooked Lake just north of Petoskey Mi to Cheboygan Mi on Lake Huron a true pleasure, She's a 1987 Celebrity I found in a barn with just 100 hours on her.The canvas had never been on the boat, was still in the factor bags in the cabin. One owner and they never used it,go figure, she's new!
