Lake Houston is low and a friend that lives on it been telling me of an old boat sunk in it. Said all one can see is the outline

Well we got on his jet skies and went to look it over....Saw the bow light right away even being the boat was on it's side and the light cover with mud

After removing the light I went ti see if there was any thing that was left (being that I was cover with mud already)

Found the steering bracket...believe me ..the mud must have kept the cable from rotting (not so for the wood) for it had to be cut

Both Items have been through the dishwasher 2 times (I am not married) and the bracket has spent 6 hrs in the brass cleaner that I use for reloading

Could not find the maker of the boat, motor must have been taken by another long ago (or the boat was towed out and holed)

That's the same light/mast that Razorback used on all their boats from about '62 on. Love those lights....

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

That's a Kainer bow light, I think #927.
