TOPIC: 1957 Herters Duo Foil Flying Fish

Can anyone tell me if the original windshield on a 1957 Herters Flying Fish was glass or plexiglas? Also has anyone had any luck reproducing one of these windshields? Has anyone replicated the original hardware to attach windshield? Any help would be appreciated.

We have a group of glassic owners in the Sacramento/Delta area that regularly get out and cruise our glassics in around the Sacramento, American, and the Delta Rivers.
