TOPIC: vintage airguide tach...

i tried posting this in the wanted section in glassifieds but was unable.
looking for a vintage airguide tachometer (surface mount) that will work with my 62-700 6 cyl. i recently won a matching pair (clock and barometer) off ebay and want to install all 3 in my JG console. they fit by 1/2" stacked bottom to top. i have an airguide for cdi ignition that i would be willing to trade or i'll pay cash. ron

Ron I just cleaned out my bookmarks yesterday and I had a site that had them. Mine has a control that I wanted to see the wiring diagram. If you know how I can dig it out I'll look. ps I have a nos airguide compass in the box but the glass is broke from something falling on it in storage. Not me, previous owner.

Ron... I do have a set of Airguide guages(Barometer, Speed, and Tack) that are flush mounted off of an Old Cuisers Inc that would certainly be before CDI. The pot metal bases are a bit pitted but the glass and internal faceplates are good.

Problem is.... I have been saving these and you can pretty much bet money on it that as soon as I get rid of one or more I will need them for a restore myself.

I am betting you could monitor ebay and find one there eventually.

joe , they had a bunch of vintage airguide but none for a 6 cyl.battery/coil ignition. thanks, ron

mark, yeah, i found that guide the other night. theres only 1 that is compatable with my 700 merc. 6cyl. thanks, ron
