Somebody here (Andgott maybe?) was making his own for those Gil, I'll see if I can find that thread again.

Edit: Here's one reference, I'll see if I can find the original

I made one for a SIMILAR light-

Yours has a rounder dome. It would be a lot tougher to make, but probably possible if you can't find an original or one that fits...

At some point I believe someone suggested that you could find old glass gas bowls from old engines that would do the trick. I am still looking.

I bought a couple on eBay Canada last year. They were a complete SS light fitting for a couple of dollars, but the lens fitted perfectly.
I think they were a new transom mount stern light.

I've got a perfect lens that comes with a complete stern light and is attached to a complete G3 with motor and trailer for only $3500!

I got to looking at some old stuff I had and noticed that a fuel bowl off a john/rude v-4 looked close in size. So here's what I got.
If you can figure a way to keep the bowl in the hole with no lip on it, you have it fixed.

thanks for all the info !! the dumb part was i had the complete light with lens , it came on my Glastron GT160 which i restored and put a new light on the stern and kept the light but sold the lens to a member here (not knowing how rare the lens is )
my new project 1974 Glastron Carlson CV21 which needs the same light , hence my predicament lol .
