yep and follow it up with turtle wax polishing compound.
tip... the more you let it dry the harder it is to rub off. i just did my truck with the same stuff. ron

When you get time, there's a couple of good articles on this subject in the "Research" section here JD;

Turtle wax compound is OK stuff, but once you've used this stuff-

kustomaccessories.com/3M-PerfectIt-II-Rubbing-Compound-32oz/M/B0002ZQ016.htm

You'll never look back.

You can put it on by hand, or even better with a foam pad on a buffer. It's unreal what it can do!

Mothers also makes a great compound, I think it is called 'ultimate', and it is less aggressive.

Of course, as with all compounds, go over it afterwards with a good wax...

To make that REAL NICE ..Wet sand it with 1000 or 1200 then machine buff it with Turtle wax white buffing compound in a green bottle . Its made for clear coat . Follow up with Meguiars Step 2 Cleaner wax and then thier Carnuba wax ..When I say Machine Buff I mean the one with a wool pad that spins not a orbital .She will look like new or better .I did alot of this in a Body Shop for a living .If you can find 3M Finese compound (( Its Pricey )) It works faster than the Turtle wax Compound .Try it Youll Like it .Harbor Freight has cheap buffers for $29.95 and a wool pad will cost around $12 .Good thing is youll have it for other projects to and for a Cheap Buffer they hold up pretty well for home and Hobby use .
