Doing a rewire on my boat. I want to wire my bow nav light and stern running light on a 2 circuit 3 position switch. The switch has three connectors.How is this wired?

I just wired my lights .the positive terminal is the one in the middle, I think to the right ,looking at the switch from the top . The first pull is the stern light only, the second pull both lights come on

Correct, the center terminal us usually the hot (+), one of the others will be the bow light, the other for the nav. If it works backards, switch the outer two connections.

So the hot from the fuse panel goes to the center terminal and the pos wire from each light goes to the other terminals. The ground wire from each light goes to the neg bus terminal?
