My friend Tim who went to the Hammondsport show with me took these pics of Lida Rose. I love the action with the water that they show!
Julia and I have not stopped talking about what a great time we had at this event.
I understant that there is another show at one of the other Finger Lakes, does anyone know much about it?

It is this weekend at Geneva another beautiful spot.Details are in the FGNE forum under Seneca Lake. There had been some small talk about NCC attending that event next year.Of course if they had the two events about a month apart it would no doubt be better for both shows attendance wise. The big show in this area,Buffalo is the 2nd weekend in September with about 150 boats the norm. Not as picturesque as Hammondsport but impressive nonetheless.Next year I will take another approach to Hsport and try and do at least a 1 nite stay over along with a dock unless the two shows are a week apart, then Geneva for me.Looking at there web site through the link Frank posted has me wanting to see there in house boats as well as take in Geneva. It would make a great FGNE meeting place next year.Seems to be a hands on crew and I will def make it there in 2012!

JAG, in my opinion, your boat was the star of the show. I'm glad that we got to see and hear that boat run on the water, just seeing it on the shore would not do it justice!

I'm only sorry that I didnt get to meet you and tell you that in person.

JAG, next time I hear you are going to be at the same show I am, I'm going to request a separate dock. You're making me look bad! (LOL). You would enjoy Buffalo show. Lots of cool stuff and plenty of river to run in.

The couple that run the ACBS show in Essex, CT are headed up to the Skaneateles show next week. He's one of the judges. (The chief judge at Hammondsport last week normally does the CT shows as well.) Interesting to see if they are FG friendl

I hope so JAG, I never get tired of looking at your boat. (Not to mention the others at the show, but "Lida Rose" is TOP SHELF in my humble opinion!) Not that I followed your project, but I remember the trailer customizing, engine trouble, the rudder shaft snapping, the whole nine yards. ;)
