TOPIC: 1959 mercury 300

my boat came new with a 1959 mercury 300, 3 cyl.45 horse. i have the orig. motor is there a source for parts for this power plant?

I would post this question in the Mercury Outpost forum.There are quite a few members with "small" and large buildings full of vintage Merc parts...Dr.Franken/Tim C/Dave/G3Jim/Milkdud/Neil/Professor/Madprops just to name a few...Maybe try and be specific as to what you are looking for.

For starters, your motor is a 4-cylinder, 1960 model year of 35 horsepower. Makes a difference, as the 45 horse models were a different displacement, different carbs...
