Awesome! Love the color. Thought about a stripe on mine as well (the '58 in the gallery) what finish and color is that? Sweet polishing job on the aluminum too. Get used to being stopped and chatting.... Let's see more pictures!

She looks fantastic Dallas, you should be proud. I'm hoping Ron does the 2012 calendar with complete 'Glassic boats, and yours is definitely "calendar material". Hope to see some more pics soon.... ;)

I believe in using them, so in the water shots are my favorite! But some may not agree, a mix would be okay with me. I get comments on this years calendar every time somebody walks up to my desk at work! :P

(Sorry to sidetrack your thread Dallas, but I'd love to see your boat in there!)

I recognized the brochure influence right away. I was influenced by the same one - even considered (and still considering after 7 years) putting the stripe on and the white tread back on the bow. Mine never had the castings or glass for the upper windscreen. (Some day I may have to swing down to AZ and talk you into letting me take a casting image...)

Did you replace the white rubber trim on the cockpit? I keep meaning to source some of that.

Yes all the rubber was replaced WeFco rubber outta California has it all... The black stripe is actually is gel coat and has just a TINY hint of light blue metalflake in it. Really sets it off in the the sun. anytime you want that casting let me know... in fact there is a guy here that will make it.. I will get a cost.

I picked up on the sparkle in one of the other pics. Very nice. Outstanding attention to details! I used Wefco for the windshield trim. Still have a bunch but it will work on the bus too.
