Worked this one over the winter. Traded the Mercury for a Homelite. All new paint, some hardware, windshield, vinyl, wiring, rub-rail with insert plywood reinforcing under deck, trailer rebuild and paint, a lot of time.

Hi Greg,
You cease to amaze me with your talant. Hope to get to see you at Tomahawk meet the end of July. I'll be there on Wed. afternoon and all day Thurs. Should be parked in the middle road.
I'll have to get your cell number or look for the Tomahawks for sale. Are you going to sell them with the Homelites on them?
I won't have much for sale. Maybe a few Elgins (Down sizing Elgin collection)and some Misc. stuff to unload. Will looking for some cool vintage stuff. I might bring a few vintage bow lights too.
Take care,
Dave

That is such a pretty boat. You have to agree with John Gibson today, maybe he will share his Birthday Cake with us.

Thank You all for the wonderful comments. You might agree that most people "DON'T GET IT" when it comes to these old boats. So to have an outlet for folks that "DO GET IT" makes it that much more gratifying.

Ron, the interior paint is good old Sherwood Williams exterior oil base. I put on a few coats with a brush and it gets quite hard to withstand the foot traffic and foot twisting that a boat floor withstands.

The upholstery was done by a local Auto Upholstery shop for about $650.00.

I GET IT FOR SURE... lots of hours, but man what a great result. (I'm close to exposing my own winter project)... Great work Greg! Just beautiful. Be sure to drop us another shot when the motor is on and its ready to get wet.
